A food journal is a great way to gain awareness of what you are eating, how much and when.  Sometimes we don't even know whats makes us feel a certain way!  This doesn't have to be difficult - you can use what ever technique you want to to keep track.  For example a simple pen and paper, texting me pictures, spreadsheet or www.myfitnesspal.com (see more instructions below).   We may come back to this habit more than once to see how things are progressing.   

www.MyFitnessPal.com -  This is a great app that you can use to track your food.  The great thing is that you can share you diary so your coach can take a look. 

  1. Sign up for www.myfitnesspal.com 
  2. To add your coach: COMMUNITY > FIND MEMBERS >  Search for me as "sweatsinthecity" 
  3. To change diary visibility: MY HOME > SETTINGS> DIARY SETTINGS > diary sharing "friends only"
